Bringing Muslim communities together through the spirit of soccer, fellowship, and shared community.
The Islamic Affairs Council of Central Valley is exploring the possibility of hosting an International Muslim Soccer Competition in Tracy, California, in September 2027.
The vision is to bring Muslim communities together through soccer while creating an opportunity for fellowship, friendship, healthy competition, and community building.
We hope to bring together teams representing different nations and communities from throughout the United States and beyond.
We are beginning by identifying individuals and community organizations who are interested in helping organize a team representing a particular nation.
Whether you are interested in bringing a team representing Egypt, the United States, Pakistan, Nigeria, Somalia, Bangladesh, Morocco, or another nation, we would like to hear from you.
At this stage, we are simply gathering expressions of interest. Submission of an expression of interest does not constitute official team registration.
The first step is to identify people who are willing to help organize a team representing a nation or community.
This will be 11x11 Soccer competition. Intially the plan is to host it every two years rotating venue within State, Nation or International sites. The inauguration tournament will start in Tracy, California where foundational work will be established with interested groups, individuals or Nations. The plan is to have prize money. The amount and distribution will be determined by the Sponsorer.
This initial phase will help us understand the level of interest and the number of potential participating nations.
Once sufficient interest has been identified, representatives of interested nations will be invited to an organizational meeting in December 2026.
Identify individuals and organizations interested in bringing a nation team.
Bring interested representatives together to begin developing the formal organization and structure of the competition.
Develop competition rules, team eligibility, player requirements, tournament structure and organizational procedures.
Develop participating teams and begin formal tournament registration.
